MY POEMS
What is Easter? If a survey were to take place, amongst the vast human race, Why all the fuss, what does it mean? Many answers the enquirer would glean. Daffodils, lambs & eggs are often portrayed. Sadly little thought of the one who was betrayed. Spare a thought for the one who came to die, On a cross for the likes of you and I. Flogged, beaten, in pain to the very end, What a miracle we can still be His friend. The Good News is He is risen and alive. Part of God's plan for us to survive. God's special gift to us, a way to heal the rift. Easter is the Time we celebrate this precious gift. Roger Whipp 1999
