However i need to do a years training and have been told by each institution that I contact that there are no places for September, that I have left it too late. Most colleges just come back and say we are full, one or two colleges haven't even got back to me, Stranmillis in Belfast and a few distance courses in the UK. The reason being is that I have been told that everywhere is full. Everywhere I try the door is slammed in my face, I'm told that no cancellations exist and they won't exist. My parents were both servant of God. I am one among the 3 children (1 brother and 1 sister). As a teen age young fellow in the mid 1995s I tried whatever I thought (and others thought) was going to give me happiness and satisfaction in life. But all that I tried only left me increasingly dissatisfied with life. In the boarding school where I was studying for the first two years, I was introduced as the most exemplary student and then by the end of the 3rd year I was dismissed for bad behavior. So I had to leave this school in town/small city and go to the village where my parents were residing. But it was for my good that this had happened. Around this time my father, who was the Senior pastor in the Congregation, at that time, had a life-transforming encounter with Jesus Christ and there were prayer meetings and other Christian activities going on at home. But I became more and more dejected and disillusioned with life (because of the inner void/vacuum and external difficulties) and I started contemplating suicide. It was during this time that in 1995, while I was in a prayer meeting at home where testimonies were shared and the word was preached, I realized that it was my sin that separated me from God and that it was because of this separation that I became so frustrated with life and nothing could really satisfy me. Then I prayed a simple prayer of confession on an experimental basis: 'Jesus I need you. I am a sinner. If you are the God who changed my father's life, I need that change. Please forgive me of all my sin and give me peace.' From that day onwards, God has been faithful in my life. He changed my life, gave me hope to live, and led me on. It took some time for me to learn as to what exactly happened when I prayed that prayer. Unfortunately I have been a victim of black magic since a very young age and came across the sad fact when the talisman I had been wearing from my early teens was opened by mistake to reveal a tiny paper with numbers, awkward shapes and lines, I had been wearing the talisman which was given to me by my mother at the age of seventeen, she said it contained a special church prayer for protection and insisted that I never pry it open. I went away to Med school in Europe and failed year after year. I was only after 3 years that my cousin opened the talisman and to my shock I was devastated and very disturbed, due to fear that my mother would find out. The language made no sense to me and so I gave it to my father, who never uttered a word about it but was obviously quiet upset. I never saw the talisman again, but that did not stop the affects of black magic. Now I am married and against my parents will.
