MINISTRY REPORTS 2005/06
THANK YOU MY PRAYER WARRIORS WHO COVER MY ITINERANT MINISTRY. HERE ARE SOME PHOTOS & BRIEF REPORT HOW THE DAY WENT.
ST. PATRICK'S BARKING. 23rd APRIL 2006
I'm beginning to feel part of the furniture here! However it's always a pleasure to come and preach here at both the 9.30am & 11am Service. Spoke on James 2 Faith & Action.
CHADWELL HEATH BAPTIST 9th APRIL 2006
I am always delighted to be able to assist with the preaching whilst the Pastor takes a well earnt rest this time in the Canary Islands. Although the sermon was based on Matthew 21 Palm Sunday theme I tried to present it in a slightly different way, which seemed to go down well amongst the many friends I have acculalated over the years of being invited here to preach.
ST. PATRICK'S BARKING. 4th APRIL 2006
Although I have preached here a few times this was my first visit to their midweek fellowship meeting. Those attending were a mixture of church people and guests. I spoke about My Faith whilst in the Police, which was well received.
ST. CHAD'S 2nd April 2006
One of my rare talks on home soil! This was An All Age Service based on The Rich Young Ruler & making the right choice who and what to follow. Had a good time with a setting the scene competition with the youngsters followed by an all age talk. Thank you all those who spoke to me afterwards and encouraged me.
KINGSWOOD BAPTIST CHURCH BASILDON 25th March 2006
My first visit to this church resulting from a recommendation from Breakfast Bar Ministries. I shared my original testimony to over 50 men and we were treated to a good Full English Breakfast!

Amongst the men assembled was David who was due to get married at the church in a few hours. Now that's what I call commitment! I was greatly encouraged by the response and an invite to return was given.
ST. JOHN'S WINDLESHAM 18th MARCH
My first visit to this lovely rural church just outside Bagshot. I shared my original testimony with a group of men at a CVM Breakfast. I really enjoy doing these as a Full Traditional English Breakfast is the normal feast, I was not disappointed!
CANVEY BAPTIST CHURCH 5th MARCH
This seems to be an annual visit, again accompained by John Kennett and some band members. It was a special service in many ways, especially as their new Pastor, Jane had just officially been inaugarated. I am sure that she will lead the church onward with renewed enthusiasm and vigour. Looking forward to next years visit!
DODDINGHURST CHURCH 4th MARCH
My first visit to Donninghurst Church where I shared my original testimony to a group of Men at their first CVM event. Tucked into a great meal of Homemade Meat Pie followed by a selection of amazing desserts. Great night all round with a number of interesting conversations taking place.
DODDINGHURST CHURCH 4th MARCH
ALBANY Rd. GOSPEL CHURCH 14th FEBRUARY 2006
Talk given "Forever Hopeful" based on Romans 8
SALEM BAPTIST ROMFORD 9th FEBRUARY 2006
Talk given "Forever Hopeful" based an Romans Ch.8
SAYWERS CHURCH BRENTWOOD £!st JANUARY 2006
I specially enjoy visiting this church as they have a good number in attendance for a midweek service. Talk given "The New Improved Version" based on Hebrews 8.
CLAYHALL BAPTIST CHURCH 19th JANUARY 2006
Talk given was "New Improved Version" bases on Hebrews 8. An ideal talk for The New Year and new beginings
UNITED REFORM CHADWELL HEATH 4th JANUARY
My first talk of the year at one of my regular speaking engagements. I spoke on "The New Improved Version" based on Hebrews Ch.8
Ashurst Baptist Church Gants Hill 2nd December 2005
I was invited to speak at the gathering of Local Baptist Women's Fellowship Christmas Talk. It was well attended and there was a really nice atmosphere. I invited my friend John Kennett to attend and sing a couple of his new songs which also went down well. A splendid afternoon, enhanced by some Classical music performed on the piano by one of the ladies.
ST. PATRICK'S BARKING. 16th November 2005
After our succesful & enjoyable visit in October I was invited back to preach at St. Patrick's Healing Service. Many people responded to the message and meet with the Lord who poured out his healing balm.
ST. PATRICK'S BARKING. 9th OCT 2005
My first visit to preach at St. Patrick's Barking. A very unusual looking building from the outside, similar to some Underground Stations in design. Apparantly when built it was considered to be state of the art! Gordon the vicar had invited me to speak at both the 9.30am & 11am Services on the theme of 'Peace being a fruit of the Spirit'
ST. PATRICK'S BARKING. 9th OCT 2005
It may be different on the outside but fairly traditional inside in structure. We received a very warm welcome and were encouraged by the response of the fellowship. Looking forward to return sometime soon.
URC ROMFORD 27th SEPT 2005
Another of my regular speaking engagements. This was my 12th yearly visit to the Ladies Fellowship Meeting. It was good to see that they are still getting a good number attending, whereas many such meetings seem to be folding due to lack of support. The theme was Harvest and I used a modified talk on The Weather Report as listed in my sermons page. I was greatly encouraged by the response to my talk.
Clayhall Baptist Church 22nd Sep 2005
My secong visit this year to this small but friendly fellowship meeting where I gave testimony regarding my Faith & Police
Albany Road Full Gospel Church 20th Sept 2005
Normally a once a year visit but either they are desperate for speakers or they like me as my second this year! A new Pastor has been inducted and I pray that this small but friendly fellowship will grow over the coming year.
Ferring CVM 12th Sept 2005
It is always a pleasure to be invited back somewhere, especially when it's the lovely village of Ferring. Jane & Ian once again opened up their beautiful cottage for the men of the village to come and hear my talk on My Faith & My Police Service. Even though Ian has a big lounge it was nearly standing room only and a great night was had by all. Well done Jane & Ian for your commitment to the Lord.
Chadwell Heath Baptist Church !4th August 2005
I always enjoy my visits to CHBC whether preaching or not. Unfortunately the Laptop never turned up in time so Icouldn't use the PowerPoint Presentation I had prepared, however a good morning was had by all.
UNITED REFORM CHADWELL HEATH 20th July 2005
One of my regular preaching slots. A small but happy group who share midweek fellowship.
CLAYHALL BAPTIST CHURCH 9th JUNE 2005
A new venue for me having been recommended. Although small in number I received a very warm welcome and was invited back in September.
Sizewell Hall Christian Conference Centre 26th-28th April 2005
Having been recommended to Bernard Firkins a PGA Golf Coach, I attended a 3 day Golf Outreach Mission. Apart from giving the after Dinner Talk, I had the opportunity to get alongside both Christian and non Christian men who attended, as well as brush up on my golf! A really great time was had by all! A wonderful location right on the Suffolk Coast, hosted by Peter & Linda.
Sizewell: Bernard & some of the gang.
Sizewell: Relaxing at the 19th Hole
SAWYER'S CHURCH BRENTWOOD 12.04.2005
One of my regular preaching locations, speaking to the Midweek Fellowship Meeting.
Saffron Walden CVM Men's Breakfast
Held in a converted Barn which used to be part of the Abbey attached to the historic Audley End House. Now owned by The Diocese of Chelmsford and part of a complex used primarily for Youth Activities.
Saffron Walden continued.
Hosted by St. Mary's Church there were about 40 men present who enjoyed a typical 'English Breakfast'. I received a warm welcome and an encouraging response to my talk.
Albany Road Full Gospel Church 8th March
I always look forward to my annual visit to address the midweek fellowship meeting. It was encouraging to see some new faces and signs of growth.
March 3rd High Road Baptist Church, Chadwell Heath
I have been speaking at this venue several times a year for about ten years now and enjoy a warm welcome. Although like many midweek ladies fellowships the numbers have been in decline over the years, they are keen to hear the Gospel preached. Thanks to the assistance of www.hollywood.jesus site I gave a talk on Walt Disney's Spirituality and the comparison or his film Snow White with some Biblical teaching.
20th Feb 2005 Oasis Church
It's always good to be invited back to preach as it means you couldn't have been to bad the last, or they are desperate for speakers! Again Maggie & I received a warm welcome from the fellowship as we shared an encouraging word. We pray that this fellowship will grow from strength to strength and be a continuing witness to the Lord in the area, forgetting the past problems and to be expectant as to the future.
Canvey Baptist Church 6th Feb 2005
It's always nice to be invited back as we were here in Canvey Island. With the assistance of Worhip Leader/Songwriter John Kennett & friends, I took both the Morning and Evening Services.
St Michael's Ham 29th Jan 2005
I was the Main Speaker at The Steward's Fellowship Conference held at St. Michael's Ham. I gave 3 talks on healing & The Lord's guidance. An excellent lunch was provided in The New Inn next door which complemented a great time of fellowship & teaching.
Salem Baptist, Romford 27th Jan 2005
It was good to see some new faces at this ladies meeting which I speak at on a regular basis. I spoke on Ruth Ch.3 which seemed to go down well, including some of the mother-in-law jokes!
Oasis Church Chadwell Heath. 16th Jan 2005
Maggie & I had a good time of fellowship as I shared my testimony. Followed by an excellent lunch. Thank you Chas & Ann, looking forward to being with you again.
Whythall Men's Breakfast. 15th Jan 2005
Things were certainly sizzling at the 'Sizzling Sausage' Restaurant where St. Mary's Church held there Men's Breakfast with 35 men present, including a number of non Christians. We tucked into a traditional Full English Breakfast followed by me sharing testimony. Afterwards I had some good conversations including a chat with Andy Gorman a PGA Golf Professional. He suggested when I return to speak again I pack my clubs! I look forward to a return trip sometime! Thank you Phillip & Shelia for your hospitality the night before, it saved me getting up very early to drive to Birmingham!
Whythall cont.
Kilburn Evangelical Church 9th January
John Kennett & Friends accompained Maggie & I to Kilburn. We had a great time of praise & worship including Communion which I was privilged to administer. After sharing my testimony the majority of the fellowship responded by asking for prayer ministry. Thank you Kilburn for your warm welcome and gifts to us including a superb lunch.
